Behind the Curtain
Still Life Photography
Personal Project | Conceptual + Product
Developed as a personal project, this conceptual still life series explores the creative journey of a singer-songwriter through three phases: Inspiration, Creation, and Performance. Using carefully curated props, color, lighting, and composition, each image tells part of a larger narrative while demonstrating how still life photography can communicate emotion, character, and story without the presence of a human figure.
Created with consumer brands in mind, the project combines conceptual storytelling with commercial still life photography to produce imagery that feels textural, intriguing, and visually rich. Everyday objects become narrative devices, revealing the unseen rituals behind the creative process—from quiet moments of inspiration and late-night collaboration to the intimate aftermath of a live performance.
The series reflects my interest in developing story-driven imagery that blends thoughtful art direction, styling, and commercial lighting techniques to create distinctive visual campaigns for brands and publications across several industries.
