StarChefs + Pecorino Romano PDO
Pecorino Romano PDO hosted an open competition for chefs to come up with a recipe using Pecorino Romano cheese. The top three winners had their recipes and photos published in StarChefs magazine, along with cash prizes. Chef Ricardo Heredia was one of the runner-ups, with his pecorino culurgiones. I photographed him and the dish at Coasterra restaurant, in San Diego.
